What to expect
What happens on the call?
Latonia asks what the business does, what state the books are in, and what is prompting the call. You will leave knowing whether Farris Fair is a fit, roughly what the work involves, and what it is likely to cost. There is no charge and no obligation.
What should I have ready?
Nothing formal. If you have access to your QuickBooks file and a copy of your last filed return, that makes the conversation more specific, but it is not required for a first call.
Do I have to come to the office?
No. Most clients are handled remotely. The Oakbrook Terrace office is there if you would rather meet in person, and some clients do that once a year around filing time.
How quickly can you start?
It depends on the time of year. Outside of filing season work usually starts within a week or two of agreeing scope. Between January and April the queue is longer, which is a good reason to call before then.
