About monthly bookkeeping
What does monthly bookkeeping cost?
It is quoted after Latonia looks at your file, because a one-person consultancy and a twelve-employee contractor are not the same job. The quote is a fixed monthly fee, agreed before any work starts.
What if my books are behind right now?
Cleanup comes first, as a separate fixed-price project. Once the file is current, monthly work begins. It is not worth starting a monthly cycle on top of records that are wrong.
Do I have to use QuickBooks?
QuickBooks Online is where most clients end up, and Latonia holds the Advanced ProAdvisor credential for it. QuickBooks Desktop is fully supported too. If you are on something else, bring it to the call and she will tell you honestly whether it is worth moving.
How do I get my paperwork to you?
Bank feeds handle most of it. Receipts and documents can be sent however suits you. Clients near the Oakbrook Terrace office sometimes drop things in, but nothing requires you to come in person.
